About Us
I’m Ron McElfresh and I enjoy building internet businesses.
In 1998 I began work on the Cheap Tickets web site, cheaptickets.com. Within three years the site had gained over 4-million registered users and had annual ticket sales of $250-million.
The site was highly profitable and managed by a small team of 12 marketing and technical specialists. Such were the days of the dot.com bubble.
Due to the success of the web site, the company had a successful initial public offering in 1999, and was sold to travel conglomerate Cendant in 2001. Even today the Cheap Tickets brand lives on.
Through the years since then I’ve collected a number of very attractive domain names, some of which have been used to create popular internet businesses.
A few years ago a friend and I developed and created a web site about Apple’s Mac. The site is Mac360, which now receives over 200,000 visitors and displays over 1-million advertisements each month.
